Hi, guys! I'm so sorry to be making jennyclarinet do all these posts... My work internet is intermittently blocking LJ. But I haven't forgotten about this comm!

Anyway, this post is just to discuss workout tracking. What do you guys do to remember your workouts? Is posting here enough? Do you have a private journal or a notebook?

I ask because I've recently started tracking my runs on Twitter using the hashtag #healthbloggers! I usually have my phone at the gym, and if not I go home right after, so it's easy to text a summary of my run - and that way I have a public record I can check when I need.

I've also started using it to track my asthma -- I rate the run on a scale of 1-10 in terms of how bad it hurts my lungs. Hopefully this will help me pinpoint what kinds of triggers I'm dealing with!

So anyway, I invite anyone who's on Twitter to use the hashtag with me. And if you have a different way of tracking, let's discuss!

Hello! My name is Nikki, and this is my "happy trail" journal- it's kind of my journal about my personal health/wellness/happiness journey, featuring healthy (or indulgent but too yummy to resist) recipes, pictures & articles & things that make me happy, etc etc..

Anyway, a little about me: I'm almost 21, and I had weight issues from about fourth grade to.. well, does anyone NOT have weight issues after puberty? But I slimmed down and am now generally happy with my figure, but maintenance is important to me! I recently started to cook healthier and stick as much to the ABSDIETPOWER plan as I can with my short self-control fuse, and I work out 4-6 days a week with a combo of running, push ups and sit ups, walking with weights, riding bikes, and other various gym machines during the school year.

I look forward to motivating and being motivated!

Hello everyone, I'm new here. I'm never quite sure what to post when I join a community, but here goes.
I'm a mother of 2 boys. My youngest being 2 and I'm still trying to find ways to get rid of the baby weight. Prior to him, I was a vegetarian and am slowly moving back to that path, but it's not easy since no one else in my family is. I have a hectic schedule and try to work out on a regular basis.
My workout plan as of right now, not counting running around being a toddler:
I try to do at least 100 crunches each day (abs need some serious work)
I walk everywhere, usually at least 30 minutes a day
I've tried a few of the pilates workouts, but recently bought the Yoga Booty Ballet.

Motivation is my biggest challenge so I've been looking for supportive like-minded people.

If anyone here has any suggestions, I'm more than open to them. And, it's nice to meet you all.

Well, first_seventhe pointed me in this direction, so here I am!  My name is Rhi, and I'm 27-years-old.  I have finally decided that it's time to get off my butt and do something about the fifty to sixty pounds I gained during and after my pregnancy -- yeah, three years later.  LOL CLEARLY, I am super-motivated, you can tell.  ;)
